My CSA has been receiving tons of peaches this season, thanks to the bountiful harvest from our wonderful fruit share farmer (sometimes it pays to pay in advance!)

<p>My <a href="http://www.bedstuyfarmshare.org" target="_blank">CSA</a> has been receiving tons of peaches this season, thanks to the bountiful harvest from our wonderful <a href="http://www.wilkloworchards.com" target="_blank">fruit share farmer</a> (sometimes it pays to pay in advance!)</p>

<p>They&#8217;ve been a <a href="http://www.cenyc/greenmarket" target="_blank">Greenmarket</a> staple for over 25 years.</p>
<p>This smoothie is perfect for breakfast  or to give you an energy boost before your workout.</p>
<p>2 cups fresh (pitted) or frozen peaches<br />
2 cups spinach<br />
1 banana or 1/2 cup plain yogurt of your choice (I use a banana)<br />
1 cup milk of your choice (I use vanilla or original hemp milk or almond milk)<br />
1 cup ice</p>
<p>I throw all of this into my <a href="http://vegetarianhealthcoach.net" target="_blank">Vita-Mix</a> at once, in the order listed (peaches on the bottom, ice on top), but if you don&#8217;t have one, you may need to add the spinach first and puree or liquefy it so that it&#8217;s broken down as small as possible, and then add the remaining ingredients.</p>
